Jeff Brown is the principal and founder of Jeffrey Grant Brown, P.C., a Chicago law firm, with a practice concentrating in Contract Law and Litigation. Mr. Brown is a 1986 graduate of DePaul University College Of Law. He has represented
owners of disability insurance policies and other types of insurance policies in litigating legitimate claims under insurance policies which were denied by insurance companies and their lawyers. He also represents employees and employers in
employment contract drafting, separation and severance negotiation, anti-competition contracts and covenants not to compete, and dispute resolution. Mr. Brown has a depth of experience in litigating discrimination claims in the areas of gender,
age, disability, national origin, religion and race; defamation; retaliatory discharge; and other claims related to employment law and litigation. Mr. Brown is also a member of the National Employment Lawyers Association (NELA) and the Illinois
Chapter of NELA. He is also a member of the Chicago Bar Association (CBA), and a member of the CBA Labor and Employment Law specialty panel. He has successfully represented plaintiffs in several employment-law related class actions, including
the Hooters Restaurant gender discrimination case.
